I am officially tired of summer, so I am starting Christmas knitting. With gifts and winter clothes I have 80 projects I would like to finish before Christmas. That's 171 days. About a third of those are sewing projects and another third are baby knitting, so it's not quite as crazy as it seems. There have been considerable sock requests from my three guys as well. I feel like I'm back to my normal knitting machine self, so here I go!
- 23 pairs of socks (8 adult, 10 kid, 5 baby)
- 4 scarves
- 1 pair gloves
- 1 knitted baby dress
- 10 hats
- 4 baby sweaters
- 5 pairs of mittens
- 2 vests
- 6 toys (5 knitted, 1 sewed)
- 1 quilt (machine quilted, top already pieced)
- 3 pairs baby pants
- 5 pairs pajama pants
- 3 baby shirts
- 4 pairs bloomers
- 6 baby dresses
- 1 pair shorts
- 1 embroidery project

Crikey! I can't imagine even finishing 8 adult socks in one year!
Failed to get the Chalet School yarn - by the time I managed to get online, it was all gone. Which is probably just as well, really. I have enough yarn and not enough time to knit it!

All I can say is WOW! I can't imagine doing that with Liam. Although Kate is a couple months older. Maybe in 6 months or so.

Um. Wow. That's a very impressive list, and I bow to your superior knitting speed. Good luck!

Wow! I can't even get thru one project right now! I'll be interested to see how all your projects turn out. Good luck!

Wow, it's a good thing you're starting the X-mas knitting now! I think you'll get 85% done, and I would be well impressed with that! Of course, it would be awesome to get it all done. I hope you do!
