John has a loose tooth and of course this means I need to make a tooth pillow. I looked at some knitted ones and didn't find anything I liked. Then I called my mom while we trolled the internet for interesting examples. We found this over on Flickr. So I made one and it took half an hour, start to finish. I can see why people get so into making softies because it was just so much fun.
I can hardly wait to show it to John in the morning. Maybe it will even convince him to start wiggling his tooth.

That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I didn't even know that people made these? Don't kids just stick the tooth under their pillow? :)

That is awesome! Does the tooth go in the little pocket?
I always just stuck mine under the pillow too. Does this mean I'm going to have to make one of these in a couple of years? Uh oh...

Adorable tooth pillow. We use a frog with a pocket that hangs on the door. It makes the toothfairy's job MUCH easier. Growing up, we used a cup of water.
Congrats on John having a wiggly tooth. Hopefully he'll be faster than my boys. Gavin's top tooth has been "wiggly" for a year. It just fell out last night- he's NINE years old. Nine and just three teeth lost.

Heather is right, that is one adorable tooth pillow, very fitting for John on having his loose tooth. Come to think of it, you could make a lot of this and give some of it to your friends who have kids.
